I know this picture is kind of bizarre, but really, these are two of my favorite things: avocados and the beach. So, though bizarre, this picture always makes me smile. :-)
It is downright cruel to post this picture in the middle of winter! Although, I must say just looking at this shot gives me a boost of Seratonin and Vitamin D. Aaaahhhh...
Hey there, I found you through Sember's blog. I think you have some mail here at our house. Just one piece from Bank of America. Should we toss it? keep it? -MichelleW
ha. that is random. But those are two good things. Too bad out here in CA with the freexing weather our crops have all been destroyed and now citrus and avocados and the like are uber expensive. No more guac for me for awhile :)
Ash: Well, no luck on going to the beach, but perhaps on the next visit, it can be during a warmer time of the year and we can go to DC AND the beach! yay!
Schmance: I agree. I always remember hating the sand at the beach as a child... especially at Galveston. ugh. And I can't stand it when it gets all over my car!
Sarah V: Yeah, it is kinda cruel to post a picture like this during the winter. Or, perhaps it's inspirational... maybe you enjoy summerscapes best during the times that you can't find them outside your door naturally? :-) I think you and Howell are chiming in on the same thing... summer beach trip!!! Don't forget about New York, as well! Are we still on for that?
Michelle: Just feel free to trash the bank statements that came to your mailbox. I am sure they are old anyway.
Pomo: I know... that sucks about the CA freeze. I went to a juice bar the other day, and they were charging 25 cents more for anything that included orange juice. My favorite part of that is the menu did not reflect that price change, and there was no posted sign mentioning the price hike. Interesting.

Let's go to the beach while you're here...it's only 2 and a little hrs away! :)
I'll have to take you over to Caffiene sometime. The #1 is a turkey and avocado sandwich.
I wanna go to the beach!
I love the ocean, but I hate sand. Why do beaches always get ruined with that annoying sand?

Let's all take a beach trip together?
