Keeping with the theme

of cemeteries, I want to share a small set of pictures I took a couple of years ago in New Zealand. This cemetery was in a valley of the Otago Region in the south island. My apologies for the morbid pleasures of silent reflection...

Nice cross and cloud pic. It is a gift to see them in such a way, and have the opportunity to capture it on photo. Keep looking for God's little, and big, gifts.

You know they don't need cemeteries in NZ... cause they're all DAYWALKERS!

I went to a tangi just over a week ago in Taumarunui, and my cousin and I spent quite a lot of time reading some of the headstones...
Not only can urupa (cemetries in Maori) give us an opportunity to reflect on our own lives and eternity, but I like to give respect to those who have passed on. We tried to put together families, why certain people were buried next to each other, the lives they may have lived etc... I hope that when Ive gone, people whether they knew me or not, might wonder these things too.

Emery's face will never cease to be photoshopped!

These are beautiful, Emery. Too bad pictures like have to stay in cameras and on computer screens...

Call me crazy, but I miss the fact that we don't have to print out all our pictures anymore...
