Why is work so much work?
This week has been a complete stress! I started a couple of new projects within the past week, so my workload has increased significantly. Last night, I had a work dinner in the Woodlands, leaving me void of free time from 7:30 a.m. until 10:45 p.m. yuck!
And today, I've been trying to play catch-up on all the work that I haven't been able to complete due to work meetings, lunches, dinners, etc.
One of the reasons I came to this job is because the workload was reasonable. Unfortunately, it appears that is now changing. Hmmm...
I must now return to the salt mines and complete some presentations and deliverables for tomorrow's 7:00 a.m. meeting (which is generally at 6:30 a.m., but we got a small reprieve because some of our overseas coworkers are in town. yay!)
It could be worse... in fact, I've experienced worse, so we'll just see how this plays out.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH, I miss you.
work is easier in new zealand.
Emery,
Stress might be relieved by a long drive through the beautiful southeast...say from Dallas to Chattanooga?
Hee hee.
Ummm, you need to get a job in Austin. No one really works in this town and we all make pretty decent money. I've never heard of a meeting before 9am. That's crazy talk. What kind of sickos do you work for????
