Reminescing

This is a picture of one of my favorite places in the Auckland region to hang out whenever I lived in New Zealand -- Muriwai beach.

I like this picture a lot, because it looks almost like a watercolor. Hope you enjoy!

I went there the other evening!! It was all windy and stormy and dusky and wonderful.

I think God loves west aucklanders more than the rest of humanity.

It reminds me of a Winslow Homer landscape.

Brian: Hope you got the e-mail I sent with Tucker's phone number. Yay for overwhelming debt! hahaha

Michelle: I'm glad to know that vacuuming reminds you of my saxophone playing, but really, it's not *that* bad! It's just average-bad.

Sarah: You're right... I took a look at some of Homer's landscapes, and there are some similarities... colors, wave action, etc. Good spot. :-)

My favorite part of the picture is the sea kayaker just left of the highest crashing wave. He looks like the loch ness monster.
